Family of Missing League City Man Responds to the Overwhelming Outpouring of Support

In grace befitting of our community the family of Scott Guseman show their appreication to the outpouring of support shown to them by all those involved.
Missing for less than a week and after help from law enforcement, The Laura Recovery Center, Texas Equusearch, and many others who helped spread the word, Scott was found safe.
Labeled "Final Update" the Guseman family posted the following statement with hopes of donations to two local organizations dedicated to finding missing persons.
We were a family in need that called upon a community for help, and help you did. Everyone involved went above and beyond and demonstrated the true meaning of the word community.
There is nothing we could ever say, or do that could express the depth of our gratitude for each and every one of you, and especially the members of Laura Recovery, Equusearch, the League City PD, Channel 2, Channel 11, Clear Channel, and all other media outlets that helped us spread the word.
Scott's disappearance was a result of a stress induced event that caused him to feel he needed to leave. Obviously, what resulted was never his intention as he was not in a rational state.
There are those of you that will judge what has taken place here, and that is your right to do so, but what I saw take place was an inspiring convergence of a group of strangers that truly bonded together to support a family in desperate need of help.
The help, encouragement and support propped up a fragile family and resulted in the best possible outcome any of us could have hoped for. It is nothing short of a miracle.
We have one final request. Please help to support the organizations that came to our aid in this time of need. They were nothing short of spectacular. They rely on donations to operate. We will be doing our part, but encourage you to also get involved.

Walgreens Video of Missing League City Man Scott Guseman

Three days after Scott Guseman went missing Walgreens released video showing Mr. Guseman arriving at and entering their store. With this video came more questions. This video was taken about 2 hours after Mr. Guseman put gas in his truck across the street for what would normally be his ride to work. It had been reported that 100$ was withdrawn from the ATM in Walgreens and investigators, family, and friends were unsure if it was him that withdrew the money or someone else. It is clear with this video that it was indeed Mr. Guseman. It was also reported from the facebook page being run by family and friends that it was typical for him to withdraw 100$ on Mondays for the week. In the video it is also clear that Mr. Guseman had changed clothes.
As questions grow surrounding Scott Gusemans disappearance, one thing remains constant and that's that he is still missing. It is important that everyone remember his loved ones want to know his whereabouts regardless of the circumstances.
Unfortunately, in today's day and age with all the CSI and crime drama's on t.v., everyone is an armchair detective. In the last 24 or so hours we've seen the families facebook page that was created to help spread awareness turn from prayers and well wishes to silly speculation, and random tips like "have you looked at his cell phone records", "you should track his bank records", etc.. While we're sure people are just trying to help, these comments are little more than a destraction to a family in distress. Please know that our police are well equipped to handle these situations. Tim Miller with Texas Equusearch has done this many times and he and his crew are on it now. Please continue to share words of encouragement and support with the family on their facebook page, Should you have any information regarding Scotts whereabouts Please call the League City Police Department at 281-338-4177. But as a community in support of the family let's all tap the brakes on the speculation, on the families facebook page. They are frantically trying to find out what happened to thier loved one.
